Custodial

Description: Maintain cleanliness in all areas of lodges, which includes restrooms. Help with basic building maintenance.
Requirements: Customer service, willing to ensure cleanliness of facilities.

Employee Housing Assistant Supervisor

Description: Responsible for helping to maintain a healthy and harmonious housing environment in the Employee Lodge utilizing a combination of clear and respectful communication and policy enforcement.
Requirements: Overnight stays in Employee Lodge during shifts. Previous independent or supervisory roles preferred.

Employee Lodge Cook

Description: It is the responsibility of the Employee Lodge Cooks to prepare breakfast, sack lunches, and dinner for employees of Mt. Baker Ski Area using the Employee Lodge kitchen. Also responsible for maintaining an efficient and safe kitchen. Quantity of meals prepared typically range from 35-100 breakfast/ 40-60 sack lunch / 20 - 50 dinner. Schedule split into AM & PM shifts.
Requirements: $10 Food Handler Card

Food Service: Cashier

Description: Operate register, open and close food service area. Maintain, stock and clean food service area.
Requirements: $10 Food Handler Card. Class 12 mixologist permit for bar tending.

Food Service: Cook

Description: Prep, prepare and serve food, customer service, operate grill, fryers, etc, cleanup.
Requirements: $10 Food Handler Card

Food Service: General

Description: Provide customer service, help maintain clean and safe facilities, assist with facility set up and take down, loading and unloading heavy items.
Requirements: $10 Food Handler Card

Instruction: Ski/Snowboard Instructor

Description: Assist customer ski/snowboard skill development and mountain environment awareness.
Requirements: Responsible, enjoys teaching others, proficient skier or rider.

Instruction: Sales

Description: Register instruction program customers.
Requirements: Friendly customer service, attention to detail, computer knowledge.

Operations: Lift Attendant

Description: Attend chair lifts, snow removal related to lifts or as assigned, customer service.
Requirements: Friendly, works well with others & independently.

Operations: Parking Lot

Description: Park cars, provide customer service and assistance, keep parking lot as garbage-free as possible, snow removal as assigned.
Requirements: Customer service, friendly personality.

Rental & Repair: Rentals

Description: Fit customers with skis, snowboards and boots, sales transactions.
Requirements: Friendly customer service, attention to detail.

Rental & Repair: Repair Shop

Description: Repair skis and snowboards, sales transactions.
Requirements: Prior repair experience.

Retail: Sales

Description: Sell merchandise, operate register, organize store.
Requirements: Product knowledge, friendly customer service.

Ticket Office: Sales

Description: Sell tickets, handle cash, provide great customer service.
Requirements: Friendly personality, accurate math skills, customer service.

Ticket Office: On-Mtn. Admin Staff

Description: Provide customer service, sell gift vouchers and season passes, answer guest questions.
Requirements: Multitasking, computer skills, experience with customer service, good organization skills.

Seasonal Part Time Positions:  Hours for these positions variable depending on snowfall, weather and general pace of business and customers and generally average less then 25 per week but may vary during peak times.

Seasonal Positions: Hours for these positions variable depending on snowfall, weather and general pace of business and customers and may average less then 30 per week but can vary up to 40-56 during peak times.
